Cet album a été composé au retour d'un séjour dans les Alpes françaises dans le massif du Mont-Blanc. Le Col de la Fenêtre est situé dans Réserve naturelle nationale des Contamines-Montjoie, en contrebas de l'Aiguille de Roselette. Ces morceaux ne sont pas une description musicale des lieux et des paysages mais en évoquent le souvenir nostalgique...
Les cloches des vaches ont été échantillonnées aux environs du Col du Joly.
Thétys est une ancienne mer intérieure qui a disparu lors de la formation des Alpes. Un des vestiges qui subsiste est la Méditerranée.

This album was composed on return from a trip to the French Alps in the Mont-Blanc massif. The Col de la Fenêtre is located in the Contamines-Montjoie National Nature Reserve, below the Aiguille de Roselette. These pieces aren't a musical description of the places and landscapes but bring back nostalgic memories...
The bells of the cows have been sampled around the Col du Joly.
Thétys is an ancient inland sea that disappeared during the formation of the Alps. One of the relics that remains is the Mediterranean Sea.
